This Gymnasium floor slab is seriously out-of-level and keeps on moving. And it is becoming dangerous for the patrons.

The property owner called us in to find out what is happening and our investigation found the building property is on compressible river alluvial soils that are constantly settling. And this is causing the gym floor slab panels to settle and “tilt”. The property also floods in major rain events which significantly softens the founding soils and exacerbates slab panel movements.

Our Engineer Report recommended Injection of Structural Urethane Resin for reasonable ground stabilization & the re-establishment of a reasonably level floor, with no trip hazards.
